I don't want it. Don't need it. (Well, actually I could probably find a use for it.)

But in any case I won't take it.

On the other hand, I don't support limits on what individuals can contribute to a campaign. I believe any such limits are an unconstitutional violation of freedom of expression.

I know the argument about rich people buying elections. But after all, given that those who are elected might decide to take some or all of their wealth away at gunpoint, shouldn't the wealthy have every opportunity to protect themselves by using some portion of their wealth in electoral self-defense?

And I'm skeptical in any case that wealthy individuals can in fact buy elections. Ross Perot, Michael Huffington, and Steve Forbes certainly didn't have much luck.
